Depending on your wallpaper the center will change from black to white on this clock... Give it a try...

Interesting, and I am pretty dead set on my background, but will try it none the less.

Edit: The center changes from white to black depending on the time of day, coinciding with daylight. Cool stuff.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond but you figured it out. At 6pm it changes to black. At 6am it changes to white.

I believe the color of the center of the clock changes from black to white with the change from day to night (or vice versa).
