I bought a Sprint Touch the first week it was offered (Nov 07) and I've loved it for almost 2 years. Unfortunately, I was robbed a month ago and they got my Touch, my backup Samsung A900, home laptop and work laptop....it wasn't a good day. I REALLY like what I see in the Hero! I'm very much looking forward to it's availability. Sorry Palm...the Pre just doesn't excite me for some reason. Maybe it's because I got a Centro to carry me over until the Hero is available.....OMG I think my Samsung A900 did as much as this Centro (but it was only $49). Here's more Hero confirmation:

Oh...and there is a "HTC Hero Team" in the Sprint employee address book in Outlook (I work at Sprint). I miss my Touch, but am VERY much looking forward to my first Android!!!

the Hero's not looking bad, but if they have a diamond2 out at about that time gotta go with wm, but android is def. on the up

I'm hoping we get the teflon white model as I hear the others don't have it, deep down I think we'll get the graphite one which is gonna blow (for me lol).

Sweet! Almost upgrade time, going to wait a bit after the Hero comes out, if reviews are good, going to jump ship from WinMo for a bit. I hope it has better battery life than the touch diamond.

If you follow the link to Phonearena.com you will see the TP2, TD2 and Hero listed among others as coming to Sprint. Nothing new but this is SPRINT saying these are coming not a leak or rumor

yup and yup I love how sprint always tells us to go check out non sprint websites for information on thier products though lol they tell me all the time to refer to that website and phonescoop lol
