The GSM diamond 2 has a 3.2" screen. The CDMA carriers used some muscle, and got a diamond 2 with a 3.6" screen.

There is some conflicting information on the net (I know that's hard to believe, but it's true). Several links in a Google search reveal the CDMA version has a 3.6" screen.

http://www.phonenews.com/htc-whitest...-surface-8668/

But PhoneArena details the screen as being 3.2".

http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/HTC-...ne-p_3874.html

Phone Arena's specs were published on June 21st, and the links with the 3.6" screen were both from August.

yeah shocking there would be conflicting reports... As soon as someone can post a pic or anything of the sort we'll see, didn't the verizon td2 pass fcc, should have the specs on that.

The diamond 2 did pass through the FCC. 3.6" screen.

The TP2 isn't so cut and dried. There are two FCC IDs, from May of this year, which could be Sprint and Verizon.

thanks for that, I think it clarifies somewhat,

based on what I currently know, the diamond2 is easily the better of the two (i hate physical keyboards)

yeah I think it is related to the two CDMA versions of the touch pro and nothing more. Thankfully the rumor has been dismissed and that the hardware specs are exactly the same
