i would get the hero is the screen resolution was higher....i dont want to downgrade from my TP

the hero looks soo effin nice but you can't beat the resolution on the tp2 :headbang:

I know! I found out about the HTC Hero today on a road trip, i LOVE IT! I wasnt really all liking the tilt at the bottom but I think it would be something I could get use too...It was really nice too!

There are a couple of reviews out there...and most mentioned the on screen keyboard...sigh

I went TP over Diamond for the physical keyboard. I've never been impressed with ANY on screen touch keyboards including (iPhone, Instink, any other HTC keyboards, finger keyboard)

think the O/S have to completely blow me away for me to forsaken a physical keyboard!

Omg I cant wait, my dude talks so much sh*t to me about my ppc bc he has the G1 Android with all these apps. Now I can have one too but just might miss my ppc thats all hehe.

what's good about the hero? will it compare with the tp2? will it have a keyboard? will this be my last htc phone? if they don't get it right this time im switching to blackberry.

what worries me is that the hero was mentioned to be sluggish at times due to the weak cpu. I just got me a palm pre that runs toe to toe with the iphone 3gs at 600mhz and I dunno know whether to risk it on a weaker one if I want a hero... We will see come oct. But I'll most likely stick to my pre or maybe get a hero through a third party for a good deal and have both

Go get the hero but the smaller screen and keyboard plus the real sluggish thing ive read all 3 turn me off and to the touch pro 2

But hey wait for it to come on and get it this way there won't be any back orders on the pro 2 like there was with the pro.
