I wonder if I can talk them into not activating it or letting me do it there. I really don't want BB employee grime on my new phone.

I made the mistake of pre-ordering the phone from Best Buy. You see, I'm paying full retail for the phone and I just found out Best Buy is charging $599 (according to their website), as opposed to Sprint's $429.99. Oh well, I shop at Best Buy enough to put that $50 gift card to good use :) I just hope I don't have a problem finding one at a Sprint store (there are only 4 Sprint stores in my 30 mile radius). Anybody know if Best Buy price matches on cell phones??

Best Buy does do price matches. Just tell them that it's $430 at Sprint.

Yeah but I'm not sure if they would consider a Sprint store their competitor, I dunno. I guess it won't hurt to try, the Best Buy opens up an hour earlier than Sprint and it's on the way.

Guys,

I have a Sero account. Earlier this week I went to BB and did the pre-order. If Sprint tells them that they can't activate that phone on my account and I have to do it online (at the Everything Plus Store), do you think I will be able to get a refund on the $50.00 gift card?

Yes, I believe you can get a refund. I read somewhere that you could.

well i have an unlimited share plan with my 2 phones so i think im all set. i know the hero will be my next phone, november can't come soon enough for me. seems alot of winmo users will be jumping ship and getting a android phone, seems to be the next iphone killer! :drunken:

Yeah, I really hope it's refundable. I don't want to have to deal with any BS and having to talk to the BB manager, yadda,yadda,yadda...

So Best Buy will match Sprint's price?..Bc y pay more at Best Buy than just ordering through Sprint?
