Got my preorder at BB (I feel better now)...

You guys planning on using HTC sync to sync outlook?
I can't decide whether to do that or try the Googlesync service.

Oh I'm getting excited. Did they mention the full retail price? I have $150 from sprint finally.

Quoting from the Sprint website: While supplies last. $429.99 - $150.00 (two-year activation) - $100.00 (mail-in rebate) = $179.99 (final price)

Has anyone here done a Best Buy pre-order on a phone before?? I really have a hard time trusting the store with my order. Are you absolutely guaranteed to get the phone if you pre-order? Do they keep track of how many people are ordering and cut it off if it gets to be too many? Theoretically the Best Buy pre-orders could outnumber the number of phones actually manufactured, right? Yes, I have major trust issues with best buy :)

You're not alone. I'm expecting them to screw something up. This way I won't be as mad when it happens....

Google sync works great with it and it also syncs with Facebook contacts if you log in.

Alright, does anybody in here know exactly how a pre-order works with best buy? I'm not just talking the Hero, just in general. I'm curious about the internal process, not what is stated on the pre-order form. When the phones are scanned into inventory does a flag come up saying they are on hold?? If not, what's stopping some sales associate who has no clue what he or she is doing from grabbing one of the pre-order phones.

When I ordered the Hero I was told that as the phones come in a copy of the order form is attached to the box in numeric order.
