Re: Flashed to 2.1, 768 overclocked kernel. Slower than before?
using setcpu, put your max at 710. Most heros arent capable of 768 without instability. Stock setting is 528.

Re: Flashed to 2.1, 768 overclocked kernel. Slower than before?
I can't get setcpu on my phone because it keeps saying there's a server error when trying to save my credit card. Can I also flash a 710 kernel as a workaround?
EDIT: Okay, I found a 710 kernel and flashed that, but I'm still experiencing lag when I hit the End Call button to bring up the lock screen. Is this just because of the 2.1 software? I really don't know how else I can tell that having an OC processor is worth it. Unless it's having to do with doing a certain task. Last edited by Volknochi; 08-07-2010 at 08:10 PM. |

Get the Overclock widget instead of Setcpu. I use it and I can set my min's and maxes all the way up to 710(which is the kernel I'm using).
