Hero to Evo?

I have an old iPhone that I basicly use for apps and music but with android apps keeping up I don't really need it anymore. RadioShack is willing to give me between 60-90 dollars for it and if I can sell my hero for 200-250 I may just buy the EVO.

We'll see. I will like it better when we know it's rooted.

hero for me til at least dec..my hero does what i want and well..evo is nice..no doubt bout it.. but really not gonna pay 400+ for a bigger screen.and less battery life..then my hero..( seidio 3500 mAh batt ) plus Im want to see it rooted. and see what extended batteries come out for it.. etc.. And what kinda roms..

once the hero gets 2.1 finally.. gonna have some nice overclocked roms coming out..

sure alot of dev's will move to the evo.. but im sure just like the vogue and tp/diamond/tp2 a few will keep them alive..

plus the advantage to taking the sit back a wait approach. U get to see all the early adopters whine and bitch bout this and that..while u sit back with your perfectly working hero,lol cant wait.. it always happens.....

I'm with you there...I've decided to wait. I definitely agree that the Hero should be much better when we get an official 2.1 ROM...

3rded!! (and 3500mAh isn't quite right )

But yeah, I'd wait for it to get 2.2, root, affordable and see how that new monthly charge system works.

The N1 is no longer coming out on Sprint or any CDMA network.

I have the Hero and I'll be upgrading, the Hero is nice but it's slow yea yea the 2.1 upgrade will make it better but who knows when that'll actually come out. Also I've been wanting a bigger screen for the longest time so the EVO is right up my alley. As far as selling my Hero, yea that'll never happen, you can get one brand new for $99.99 so no one in their right mind is gonna buy a used one for more than that. I'll just trade it into Sprint for the $75 credit.

I'd REALLY love a TP2 with Android (and snapdragon). It could be 4G too but mainly I want a snapdragon, android phone with a keyboard. now THAT I'll go for

there will be other android phones coming to sprint later this year im sure. i agree the evo is not worth it and is too big for my tastes.

Rumor was/is there is a TP2 like Android device coming out. Don't know about the Snapdragon but it would still be nice to see a DECENT (ah-hem Moment) keyboarded Droid on Sprint.
