What is the most stable 2.1 rom to use

tbh if your that concerned about voiding warranty then don't bother flashing. alot of people use stock with no issues, you just loose out on alot of potential with the device. yes there is a way to go back to 100% stock, there is a thread on how to do it on xda and it worked for me when i took my hero in for service.

if you really want a 2.1 rom, you could always try pancake 2.1, i tried it, it's pretty darn fast and not far from the stock hero image. i just hate sense and am waiting for someone to make a 2.1 rom without it. that's why i use pancake 1.5 with sense stripped, about the fastest there is.

i dunno all audio kicks out until you restart, it's a random issue on all 2.1 builds. he did post a fix for it but it didn't work for me. the deal breaker was the slow market load times on the fresh rom. a few have reported it now as well.

Am running fresh 2.0d with no issues no audio problem no force closes nothing ...its very stable the only small issue is the pinch zoom browser....

my 2.1 market isnt slow. pulls right up..2.1 is little slower than 1.5.. but I would love 2.1 without sense.. every rom i always either use the stock android home. or helix.. sense is cool and all.. but got tired of the look from the wm days..

my wish list. a 2.1 rom with darkstar theme.. and no sense..lol some one has to make this..

+1, this is why i run pancake 1.5 with no sense installed with the darkstar full theme. sense runs like crap on the hero, just as bad as some winmo phones.

very true....I would go back to 1.5 but, i use google nav way to much now.lol

see i use IGO, way better than google maps with nav so im happy for now. when 2.1 drops officially and the devs create a rom without sense ill be all over that.

with the new apps2sd i have 146mb internal space free and over 110mb free ram on gbhil's custom 1.5c kernel. doesn't get much better than that for speed.
