Error 110 RUU

Hey does anyone know what to if i get this error on ruu i cant update using original sprint release 1.29 tried using the update utility from xda of 1.56 and keep getting error 110 "file open error" is my phone bricked??

so i got it to boot using this method
download the android sdk
then use cmd prompt on windows
type
cd\
cd\<your directory>\android\tools
fastboot oem boot

after typing this it booted right up

Unfortunately it is only going to boot up one time using that (or rather you are going to have to do that command every single time you reboot).

in that tutorial i cant get into recovery mode after the flash commands and the reboot recovery
