Re: Battery life

When I was using a stock rom my battery life lasted about 8-9 hours and that was not using it for nothing, but after I flashed to Fresh 2.0d my battery life actually increased quite a bit. I play music over my stereo bluetooth headset and take calls all day long and I'm averaging about 10 our before I have to charge it again. I've found most custom roms for the most part usually have better battery life over a stock rom.

Fresh, and believe it or not when i went to fresh, it actually got better, when i had the stock i barley made half a day! I even set my emails to only sync every hour instead of every 15 minutes. I had another HEro when it first came out and it was about the same, i was going to take this one back but best buy wouldn't take it. I got two more batteries on order from Hong Kong. I hear of people going two days, i dont think i could so that unless i turned the radio off. battery use says its all cell standby and phone idle

Re: Battery life

well since i dont use the stock battery it would be hard for me to say.. but can tell u on the seidio 3500 mAh extended batt. i have the brightness all the way up.. and have everything going all day.. cept gps. and say after 8 hours im prolly down to 80%..and thats with heavy usage..lol so stock would prolly be between 50 and 60 % after that kinda usage...

lol i tried to use the stock batt and door,, after using the seidio.. I almost kept dropping it.. i got used to the weight and girth of the seidio.. dont think i can go back to the stock..to lite and thin.lol

Sounds like it is dieing from trying to find signal... are you in an area where you have good coverage? What about in your house?
