I don't know if that will make a difference or not, might be worth a shot.

Maybe you should contact HTC directly and let them know of the issue about the device, doesn't it come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty?
Yeah I tried reformating...twice , as well as diff cords and computers

I took back a total of 3 Vogue's, and 4 Touch Pro's. And noone ever asked/checked said phones to see if they had been modded. But I also introduced all the tech guys to this site. Of which they abruptly modded they're Touch Pro's to hell and back.

Re: Don't take a rooted hero to sprint store.

You could always do what I did when returning modded cable boxes. Run 220v through it

AT YOUR OWN RISK

But then again we can't go to jail yet for rooting our phones.

I'm pretty sure they have a super database that tells you everyone who has ever run 220v thru their phones.

I'm pretty sure, even if they don't have THAT database, that they have a database of all the databases they can create to phuck you over.

Re: Don't take a rooted hero to sprint store.

I thought I was gonna be in this situation with my tp2... I had just gotten off of work and wasnt even thinking to flash and relock it before I took it in because the motor in my vibrate had gone out. I went to a third party store and it didnt dawn on me that the phone had energy rom on it until I had given it to him LOL... he looked at it and was like...............................OH SWEET you're running energy rom im on mighty mike LOL.

He had the stock sprint ruu on his laptop and flashed it and got me a new one. I got lucky but I could've easily screwed myself too.
