Why did I buy this HTC Hero when these NEW phones will be released soon? - Page 2

yeah the nexus has been having some 3G connectivity issues and google has issued like 2 patches and its still having problems

That would actually be pretty cool I wouldn't mind like a Hero Pro with Supersonic specs and a TP2 slide out hard keyboard

yeah the keyboard was tempting but stock android is pretty dry, i'm not a fan; Sense definitely makes the device

Sprint hasn't BSed about the 2.1 update. They said 2.1 is coming, then they said it was coming 1H10, and now they say early 2Q10.

They never BSed about it at all.

Now, if you don't like the Hero and want something else, return it. If the phone you want doesn't exist yet, wait. Don't blame anyone else for your lack of foresight or research.

the only phone you showed up there that has any relevance with sprint and your current phone is the Supersonic. the lg rumor touch is POS when compared to the likes of the Hero.

the Supersonic is still very buggy and i doubt it will be released this summer like planned. then again sprint did release the Pre a little Early with all the bugs. so who really knows.

i would keep the Hero personally. with all the Mods the Hero is an awesome phone and is stable. it just works. ive had one problem and thats only cus ive been modding and mixing things up. other then that. the Hero is versatile has tons of apps. and if you really want the keyboard go to the Moment. i heard it has a better processor... but idk...
