I must agree on that, I just rooted my friends hero, flashed fresh 2.0d and it is so much better and my friend finds it less laggy by a lot, his sprint stock hero had turned really laggy.

Notice the .UK in the address? This is for GSM Heros, not CDMA. Most users here are CDMA Hero users.

idk sprint stock roms are usually pretty smooth if everything has been optimized and what not. ive been flashing 2.1 roms on my hero for the past two weeks and while i appreciate all the hard work all the chefs have done, all the roms had bugs. whether it was data connectivity issues, sms, mms and so on. there was always something. but i agree that its been awesome to be able to get a taste of what this rom has to offer. so big ups to flipz, damage and all the other guys hard at work!
