Loving my hero more and more!
Running TTG 0.1.6, with the Gumbo kernel, with setCPU, and my Hero is BLAZING fast! I also have emerica's port of the darkstar theme(screens below) I didn't really expect much of an increase in speed and performance, but quite frankly I am blown away. Just thought i'd even out the forums a bit with some positivity I encourage everyone to do a nandroid backup and try this setup out or try your own combination. But definitely check out the Gumbo kernel, just flash it on top of your current rom, and you will immediately notice a difference. Add setCPU for even more of a kick. THE HERO OWNS!

I'm rocking Fresh with Gumbo Kernel. Using SetCPU at 528 245 and NO profiles. I am getting serious battery life on top of the incredible speed!! I am dying for Flipz to release the kitchen. If you aren't following him on Twitter, do it. He just got some serious stuff done and it is so close to a release!

Thats exactly what im running now with the exception of TTG rom that ive been trying out, speed and battery life is just incredible!!

I want to root, but for some reason I am scared. Now I am coming from a TP1 and I had no problem flashing. I just think I need to read more and get my confidence up.
