Re: ok, hero fans speak up

Pros: Applications up the Wazzoo, wont freeze up like WinMo, scenes, trackball, 5.0 mega pixel cam, WiFi, many more.
Cons: Browser a tad slow, must download an app killer to close apps that run in background, no flash player, some apps from WinMo not yet Android ready (but coming soon).
It's a Great phone, so don't let the cons keep you from buying.

1) It is completely unnecessary to kill backgrounded apps. Android allocates memory to programs based on current usage, so background apps don't interfere at all.

2)The hero has flash support. In the stock browser, go to a page that has flash ads. They work. Also, it has a streaming media player specifically for flash.

Flash DOES NOT WORK after Sprint updated the firmware and neither does Youtube.

You should probably tell my browser or my youtube app. They don't seem to know that yet.

Edit:Also, yes, if you like inferior devices, the pre is for you.

Re: ok, hero fans speak up

LOL ok great thread. made me laugh today.

my review...hmmm great phone. the best phone i have ever had. so costomizable. i could spend hours in the market. i have a few complaints but the only 2 gripes i have on this phone is the stock contacts app lacks in many ways and the sync to outlook is an epic fail. i am really looking forward to the 2.1 upgrade!

as far as the flamers are concerned...if you cant handle new technology go back to the regular mundane flip phone.
