Pro, it works without lockup, unlike my WinMo phone that wouldn't even let me answer incoming calls at times.

Before you get flamed, please, and i am saying please, search!

This has been asked over and over again and if you look at the sticky section, there is a thread called "Hero Reviews".

Re: ok, hero fans speak up

Pros: Applications up the Wazzoo, wont freeze up like WinMo, scenes, trackball, 5.0 mega pixel cam, WiFi, many more.
Cons: Browser a tad slow, must download an app killer to close apps that run in background, no flash player, some apps from WinMo not yet Android ready (but coming soon).
It's a Great phone, so don't let the cons keep you from buying.

Re: ok, hero fans speak up

Very true that the sticky "Hero Reviews" have a wealth of wonderful information on user reviews about the pro's and con's. One thing you do not need the app killer since Android does a great job of app managment. The stock browser is very well done, you might also enjoy some of the other browsers out there. There is a Flashish ability on the Hero, not a true Flash player but very close. Apps a plenty with more and more coming out, and with the 2.1 upgrade sometime the first half of this year we will have even more available to us. IMHO the Hero one of the greatest phones on the Sprint network.

1) It is completely unnecessary to kill backgrounded apps. Android allocates memory to programs based on current usage, so background apps don't interfere at all.

2)The hero has flash support. In the stock browser, go to a page that has flash ads. They work. Also, it has a streaming media player specifically for flash.

Re: ok, hero fans speak up

Pros- the sense, customizable, can be modded

cons- battery life, delay in on some roms (actually some roms are real fast, but the one i have is a delay) browser is so so

I still love this phone and I recommend it to anyone who loves touch screen phones.
