Re: Seriously considering switching, but...Swype?

confirmed working on cdma hero, im typing this using swype now. works in landscape too. No force closes just yet, it seems a little slow to respond with the word to appear on the screen but im not even waiting for it to either, so it does well for a port. just remember to disable the sounds like it says to. NOW i love my hero, i had swype on my touch prop, i missed it.

hit that Thanks for tinkturtle

Re: Seriously considering switching, but...Swype?

I have had a couple force closes but it does work. I haven't tried in landscape. It will do until the official Swype comes out for the Hero.

Re: Seriously considering switching, but...Swype?

Swype is working on my Sprint Hero as well. Get a few force closes but it opens back up and works. However, after force close will not work properly in landscape. So I have to restart my phone or just turn off swype, turn it back on and select it as the input method again and then works fine in landscape again. This is a pain though. Hope that official release for Android doesn't have the force close issues.
