Keyboard lag

Ive had my Hero for a few weeks now and i noticed a keyboard lag when im typing. I love the keyboard and the autocorrect allows me to type fast but seems like the keyboard cant keep up. Is there something I can do to reduce this? pretty annoying

Re: Keyboard lag

I've noticed landscape is laggier than portrait mode. I use the compact qwerty in portrait, and I have almost no lag.

Make sure you are backing out of your Apps properly. This means that you are hitting the physical key that looks like a <-- right under the magnifying glass. this will save valuable resources and keep the phone running smoothly.

The only keyboard problems I notice are when I am trying to hit a key on the screen that is on the border/edge. Doesnt want to register sometimes.

Re: Keyboard lag

I've got the same issue. When ever I type in landscape, the on screen keyboard is really laggy. The portrait keyboard is fine. I use handcent sms and I've tried to turn off sound and vibration still no luck. I've tried to use the default messaging app and its the same...any solutions?

Do the keyboard calibration. Helped me with the "border/edge key" problem.
