So I assume that there is no way to fix the landscape keyboard lag? I even tried better keyboard and that lagged as well while in landscape....

There's no fix i suggest using swype or slideIT those are the only keyboards that don't lag for me.

Ever since flashing FreshToast and overclocking it to 768mhz, I've noticed no lag at all now. I don't use landscape though so I haven't tried that yet, but with portrait, the lag was gone to me

I was just testing the keyboard in landscape with Fresh Toast, and the lag is much less pronounced than with stock. It's not completely gone, but I would be able to use landscape all the time, and not have issues. Only now, I'm used to portrait, since the landscape used to be so laggy....I'll need to re-adjust...it's always something

I wish I could use fresh toast...but every time I try to use it the phone crashes a few mins after I get to thw home screen.

I was getting these force closes that would crash...have you tried Wiping completely...Davlick cacheand restore factory...prior to flashing...
