Re: omg the hero rocks..
the Pre and then Hero... well both phones are great... at least for me. im a heavy data user. i use almost 2 GB of data each month and i dont even have the Teether feature hooked up on either phone just yet. i rarely talk on my phone except on the drive home from work. but there are some noticable differences in devices.
the Pre's design to me is awesome ev eryone i talk to hates it. but it fits in the palm of my hand and i can type easily with one hand. and i love the touch stone as im at a desk for 10 hrs a day. battery life of the device can be fixed using patches and not having email check every 5 minutes. i mean my email can wait 30 min to get to me.
the Pre's email and calendar system are way better and easier to use and look nicer too. multi tasking is just the most wonderful thing to do on the Pre. it like makes youw ant to multitask even when you have nothing to do lol...
now the Hero also is nice. i have a video camera awesome!!! (Pre gets video in Feb) also the Hero has voice recording which as of last month i didnt have that on the Pre dont know if anythings come out since. Note Everything is one of the best apps out there for the Hero love it btw.
HERES THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE!!!!!
i have tested this out on 3 Palm Pre's!!!! SERVICE! it seems that the Hero gets way better signal then the Pre. i dont know why this would be but it definitely is true. i take the highway home from the gym everyday and then a back road. on my Pre i drop about 3 calls in the same three spots everytime without fail. got a replacement Pre cus the touch screen went out. the 2nd one des the same and my fiancee her pre also drops in the exact same spots. however my hero maintains 3 bars through the same area and does not drop a call. i have noticed this in many other areas. the hero simply is getting better reception.. hey its not a bad thing lol haha..
