A Genre of ROMS?

I was curios if we might see a whole Genre of different ROMS with many great Chefs and features just like we do with do with Windows Mobile?

I use Fresh 1.0 as it seems the only one currently that is both optimized and Modded ( not to mention regular updates). I suspect that there will be an explosion of modded Roms once they get 2.1 working.
