Phone is constantly acessing data and running slow

Too many problems with my phone today.. Seems my data arrows are constantly uploading and downloading and my phone is running super slow.. It's all choppy and freezes up for seconds at a time. this just started happening this weekend. Anyone had a problem like this? seems my battery is dying pretty quickly now.

Have you tried rebooting it?

maybe you installed a widget that's constantly trying to access data?!?!

i've rebooted it several times and done a couple nandroid restores. this started after i tried out android 2.0 aosp

Some people had trouble going back to 1.5 after flashing 2.0, I am not sure what the problem would be, but it may be a side effect. Check any apps you may have installed before this happened.

ended up restoring my stock rooted nandroid and then reinstalled fresh 1.0. Everything is good now.

I just want to add to this. I know Bradart had a problem similar to this. He had installed Locale, I know this because Twitter knows this (Fight Club, Enjoy haha), but joking aside does everyone get this after getting locale? Does too many updates to location in a period of time cause this? Or is it just the fact that one too many apps are calling for it, because I have 3 apps that call location (I think) and I don't get this problem.

Locale seems to exacerbate the issue, but I don't use it and have seen the exact symptoms that bug describes.

Currently testing their fix. Sitting at 100% idle at the moment but my phone has only been booted for about 15 mins. heh. But I did turn on all 3 location services. I'll let it do it's thing overnight and see from there. I'll update you guys tomorrow.
