Re: Power of Twitter and the 2.1 update.

You know, I believe I saw a Sprint Commercial on TV yesterday that was showing the Hero with Sense 2.1 on it. And it struck me as odd because it doesn't have sense 2.1...

Well when Eris gets an update, flipz can use the kernel off that right?

Re: Power of Twitter and the 2.1 update.

What we need to do get some of the more tech popular blogs to put pressure on Sprint, and talk more about the fragmentation of Android. Sprint is a large chunck of the problem and Sprint is notorious for ignoring the consumer. Also Sprint community is joke they are worthless for campaigns like this.

The more the devs have to work with the better. in Windows Mobile devs would take bits and pieces from different carriers and even different networks.

I'm sure the Hero will be updated at least once more after 2.0 update

I am sure it will be too. The question is when? So far Sprint has been pretty silent while Verizon, HTC and Motorola all announce updates.

Think about the Vogue - you know for sure - how long did we go using hacks and crap before an official update was released to support Rev.A and GPS?

We just want some official word from Sprint indicating that they are working with HTC on this - that's all - we can worry about timeframes later.

Anyways so far we have a lot of people twittering about this, but the more the merrier, it does not take very long to log into twitter and write a quick message to @Sprint and @HTC

For the Vogue the Pre-Release (Unofficial) Rom was far superior to the final product! Haha. I remember switching back because of how much better it was! That thing needed at least 2 more updates.
