Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have any adult stuff on my phone, including the mikandi app mentioned. I checked Google voice but this came directly to my phone.

google voice cant receive mms anyway. Mayhaps you use a ringtone making website of some sort?

yeah, how can I be down? I wish I could go to some of those sites, that I will leave un-named, but this phone will not allow certain codecs. I hope this gets fixed or updated. I don't think I would want it as a MMS though. That could get really irritating or embarrasing

I don't have a Hero (yet.. reviewing now to trade in my tp for either tp2 or hero... hero may win this).. But I digressed.

Those messages are in the purest nature of spam. No different than you getting them in email. Most done from a computer not a cell. Sprint was having hell with them. I use to get them often, but seems to have stopped for the last few months, so maybe sprint blocks them now. Donno.
