Only time I ever see a app in superuser is if another app needs root to run .. It will pop up on it's own... Never seen superuser when downloaded from the market already full of apps...

Yours sounds like it's working right... It only seems to work when a app needs to use root rights..

Have you went into superuser and checked to see if your binary is the most up to date one? It should be 3.0.3.2, are you saying that you are rooted and using the stock ROM? If I'm not mistaken by rooting your hboot gets changed, that looks to be the stock hboot, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know if it's different on the 3D, but I know on my Evo superuser has all the programs that need root access stored in the program list, they don't just populate as it needs access they are either there or not to my knowledge, at least that's how mine is.

Back on the evo it seemed to do the same as the evo 3d.. Certain apps would pop up if it needed superuser rights..

I used it back on the evo.. Also on the evo 3D ... What rom you using? I would find a stock build that has been tweaked alil bit... You could try fresh rom by flipz ... For the EVO everything works on it... Close to stock also... I know this caues I rooted two of my friends Evo's and put fresh on it Also when I had the evo I was running it along with CM7..

Re: an error occurred while attempting to run privilaged commands!

First thx for the replies.... i was refering to my hboot before rooting... hboot now reads 6.16.1002....

rather the apps should be listed in superuser or not i don't know.... however none are listed and when i try to run an app that requires superuser access it fails... Example: when i try to flash clockworkmod recovery via rom manager that is when i get the message that i listed in the subject line....

i tried to check my binary it said "latest version 3.0.3.2" "checking latest version - Legacy" when i try to update it fails when trying to gain root access.....

Where can i get the fresh rom by flipz?????
