I had the problem I wasn't able flash most sense rom. When it would give me a incomplete message in recovery. I would wipe data and it would boot up fine. Aosp rom flash with no problems.

Are you flashing a kernel after flashing the rom? Someone else had the same problem and was flashing an aosp kernel instead of a sense kernel.

i tried flashing Virus's gingerbread rom based off the leaked EVO rom, but it failed where Fresh rom should be based off the same rom and works. strange! |

Re: rooted EVO, but cant flash most roms =(
is it possible your rooting process was corrupted? I read that you have to have htc sync uninstalled when you use the unrevoked method. I remember reading somewhere that it could affect the flashing of different roms. Do you recall if you uninstalled htc sync? Just curious because I suggested to someone else having the same problem as you that maybe he should unroot, then reroot his phone. He was having an issue flashing stable roms that no one else was having a problem with so logically I figured it was his phone.
