Re: Evo looped on boot screen

that's probably why your phone is boot looping...since your phone WAS NOT rooted before you tried to flash another img.

Flashing an ESN is actually illegal... Chances are, you wrote in the wrong section of NAND and it corrupted the system image. Try running a PC36IMG.zip to restore it to factory or run an RUU. But chances are, depending what storage address you actually overwrote, you're going to be screwed. Sorry.

well i dont see anything illegal if you own both phones.. i totally aprove been illegal if i still cell phone signal or cable TV signal or what ever... but if you own both phones and you bought both phones i dont see anything illegal.. if anything the cell phone companies are the one doing illegal things. meaning you know how the congress approved that you can activate any phone on any carrier as long its your phone and as long you bought the phone.. ok so why sprint its not letting boost mobile use their phones . if the US congress approved the use of any compatible phone on any compatible carrier. but any ways..

lolol lkillen... well iam able to go into bootloader screen. and couple of people told me to load a PC36IMG.zip rom or what ever that is and this is what i get.
SD Checking...
Loading...[PC36DIAG.zip]
No image!
Loading...[PC36DIAG.nbh]
No image or wrong image!
Loading...[PC36IMG.zip]
No image or wrong image!
so y renamed PC36IMG to PC36DIAG.zip to see if it asks me to install or anything and still doesnt ask me anythin. so in other words no luck.

Re: Evo looped on boot screen

Okay home boy,
you are learning a little. The bootloader looks for certain file names when it boots. You got to see what they are. What you need to do is find a signed rom of a valid ROM. They do exist. You want it in the PC36IMG.ZIP wrapper. They do exist. It has to be signed since you have never gotten to the point of turning the Signature checker off. It also hase to be a PC36IMG.ZIP file since you are not rooted and not able to install and get into a custom recovery.

Good luck to you.
