thanks underrated for your reply. I had downloaded this very same file several times and try to loaded on bootloader and still no luck. This phone its really piissing me off. I dont know what else to do.. Totally nonesence that flash to another carrier made this phone go into boot loop totally nonesence.. I have an epic 4g and i had abuse that phone by flashing it and wiping it like no other. And that phone still kicks ass like nothing ever happened or like it never got flash like if just came out out of the box.. And this damn evo its just playing mr stupid. It doesnt want to take none of the pc36img zips. And some of the pc36img zip gives me this bullshit error about

main version its older. Bla bla.

That's why there is plenty of write-ups and youtube video's on all this stuff, granted you flashed your Epic but that's not an Evo, before I even attempted to root the Evo and flash another rom I read up and watched youtube video's for about two weeks, things like this happen when you don't read and research what you are trying to do. Whether you think switching ESN's is right/wrong or legal/illegal it's still illegal on this site so you shouldn't be talking about it here.

Ok now that the rant is out of the way what you need to do is to get that pc36img and make sure that it's on the root of your sd card so that when you go into bootloader that it finds the file, don't have the file inside a folder on your sd card. If all else fails I would take the phone to a sprint store and see what they can do for you and see if they can fix the phone by loading the stock rom onto it and you might get lucky and they will order you another one if they can't fix it.

BEEEN THERE DONE. THATS HOW I HAVE BEEN DOING IT. I FORMATED THE SD CARD SEVERAL TIMES AND COPIED THE PC36IMG FILE INTO THE CARD NOTHING ELSE JUST THE FILE AND STILL NO LUCK...

Does the same thing happen as before when you put the pc36.img on the sd still zipped up?? If so have you tried finding a stock RUU rom and running that with the phone connected to the computer? Im not sure what you got going on over there but it doesnt sound too good from over here!! I gotta head to work for a few hours but ill check back to see if anything has changed. Good luck!

i had tryed just about anything on the basic stuff of PC36IMG zips and still no luck..

i read your first post again and i noticed that you tried to flash the phone while not being unrooted. Im not really sure where to go from here but I will keep looking around for an answer

I personally would just take the thing to a sprint store and have them try to fix it, your not rooted so I would just take anything concerning rooting or anything shady off the sd card and take that thing in, what's the worst that can happen.
