Would that be..."front pocket" lint?...I've heard of old fashioned "pocket pull" but technology is just making things to easy now-a-days....sorry...i had to.

My touch pro did it. I got a free replacement because of tep. If u don't have insurance u just have to live with it or buy another phone. But I would definitely try reflash or hard reset first

well an update. I did get bored with the stock rom finally and changed rom, that obviously didnt fix it. but it would work and not work randomly, then sometimes it would sound like something was stuck in it. I'm guessing somehow dirt got into it, because now for the past week it has worked 100% fine.
