htc evo stuck on white screen/vibrates

Exactly! The fact that we are ALL leaving the warranty should give you pause. This is not exactly uncharted territory but it can a scary road to the uninitiated. All I am saying is to take it slow and try the more travelled roads first.

Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL.zip from recovery then reflash right after. Dont reboot!

hi guys,
i got the same issue, ma evo shows white screen, htc evo 4g n boot again n again
i got
Hboot 0.79

I Tried the rom KarlE suggested
but my evo load the rom, n while checking the rom, its just put me back to the hboot main screen insted of installing the rom

kindly please help me out

Thanks for replies.. i took the phone to sprint, and told them my phone rebooting continously and hard reset didbt work. They gave me a new one and they only asked $35 even i dont have an insurance and 30 days warranty. I feel great now. Good thing that they didnt find out that i rooted the phone or else they might not replace it. Now i dont know i i will root my new phone or not; maybe yes! But im not gonna download a custom rom yet till they have a stable version for cyanogen w/wimax...
