Flashed kernel and now phone wont charge!!

i flashed a kernel this morning for better battery life,but when i try to charge my phone it does not let me charge. Did i do something wrong?

This is the kernel i flashed HTC KERNEL #15 v7

Have you tried reflashing the kernel?
Have you done a nandroid restore?
Either of those should fix your problem.

Are you running a rom with the latest 3.70 update? If so, that kernel is already there so in essence you flashed the exact same kernel your phone was already running. I would say try a different kernel like Netarchy. Wipe the cache and Dalvik cache first, then flash the Netarchy kernel. I am using the SBC 4.2.2 More Aggressive kernel and it is ultra smooth and my battery has not seen better life.

If you are not satisfied with this kernel, then boot back into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik cache first then reflash the HTC #15 kernel and you should be all set.

What does wiping the cache and dalvik cache do? Is there any implications if you don't flash another kernel right after? Would your phone not boot?

And you flash a kernel just by having the zip in your sd card and installing it from bootloader?

Place the file on your SDCard. Shut down the phone. Go into Bootloader and from there go into Recovery. From Recovery selct Wipe. Within that menu select Cache and Dalvik and wipe both of them twice. Then retunn up one level and select UpdateFromZip file (words to that effect).
Locate the file you want to flash and flash.
If after doing this, you are still having problems, go to HTC and download RUU_SuperSonic_S_Sprint_WWE_3.70.651.1_Radio_2.15. 00.11.19_NV_1.90_release_161482_signed and run it from your computer and follow the instructions.
