Re: Sprint is huckstering on my phone

I find the button in the middle of the voicemail screen quite annoying... And I am in the middle of the trial (which I only did in hopes of the first button going away), and this "service" they are offering is beyond worthless. I have yet to see a transcription that is even close. It has provided some mild entertainment, but they have some nerve to charge for this.

One thing is, don't think the g voice transcribing is better than the sprint version. Its about the same. Only difference is g voice is free. Enjoy all the other great features.

Re: Sprint is huckstering on my phone

I made corporate contact (VP of Customer Relations). I was called back the next day. One voice can make a difference. But it has to be a voice that is will to speak and not we a wossie

Here's a verified fix to never see an ad again using a voicemail application. Call into the voicemail system and listen to your voicemails.

Yes, I agree. In my opinion, the, what do they call it, visual voicemail is a free bonus. Calling in is ad free. But I think the whole discussion is hilarious. Thanks for the cheap entertainment everyone.

Re: Sprint is huckstering on my phone

winderg, studentjunk...

Pretty soon there will be ads in just about every aspect of your phone like:

Hit the phone button to call someone not in your phone book and an add pops up for new phone features....

Hit the internet link and an ad pops up for unlimited data plans....

Hit the settings button and an ad pops up for new phones on sale....

This IS the way it's heading and the way you guys seem to think is hilarious.

It offers the same paid feature for free plus some other cool features like call recording. Although the transcribing is still not accurate it's just as accurate as sprint without having to pay extra.

Well said yankees. Also to the OP and the person who was in agreement to the OP, have you tries hard resetting your phone, then simply NOT taking the update to the new service? Works for me. Besides, I use Google Voice anyway. Been around a lot longer than this new service offered by Sprint
