On page 2 of this thread I posted a link to the ota that had already been rooted. Been using it since yesterday, and yes I am still rooted.

The link to the root process you posted requires you to wipe the device. I don't want to wipe my device. Plus I want to stick with the original stock rom. Unrevoked allowed me to root without installing a different rom originally. I will just wait for unrevoked.

Very good point if in fact that is true. People need to stop jumping the gun and find out the facts before assuming this new ota is compatible with all hardware versions.

I would like to see solid proof of which hardware version this ota is intended for. Hopefully HTC will soon unify one Rom to be compatible with ALL hardware versions. This will solve that problem. Until then make sure the ota update is compatible with your hardware version before flashing. That is for those of you who are "manually" flashing this ota with little regard to its compatibility.

Not digging this new update for scaning 4g. I live on the fringe of 4g access. So I need to scan for 4g each time my phone drops 4g. Where before if the phone dropped 4g it would just pick the signal back up again. Grrrr I know this helps with battery life. But at least give me the option to choose.
