You get the little satellite dish when ever the phone is actively using the gps positioning. The circle doesn't mean your gps is on it just means that your gps is available to your programs for use as needed. A lot of times your programs will use cell towers and wifi position. The little circle is not really gps, it is location services.

PRL doesn't have anything to due with GPS. It only allows you to roam on preferred towers. |

Demondford***** is right only has do do wilth phone roaming list, they update after new roaming towers are up and running.

Ok everyone, i've narrowed it down. This happens when i turn on Iheart Radio.
when i launch this app the sat dish icon comes on. funny things is i can turn off the GPS and i heart still works so im not sure why the icon comes on when i launch Iheart. anyone else. |
