And one of the biggest point of MMS is to send to someones phone... Most non-smartphones users dont have email on their devices - so sending them pic mail via email wont exactly get them the pic/vid in a timely fashion either

I can't understand why you favor texting over email, and diss email. Email is superior in every way I can think of. Texting seems like 2 tin cans and a string by comparison, a form of communication for those in their childhood days.
