I keep my batts at places where most of my time is spent. Work/home/car or even bookbag/ laptop bag.. if I was going somewhere like Disney world to walk around for 15 hrs, then I would pack two batts in my pocket.

Re: How do you guys carry your backup batteries?

I have a little LOWEPRO camera case I picked up from WalMart for $5. Its dimensions are slightly smaller in length and width of the EVO and about 1.5x as thick. I put a spare battery, BT headset (wep780), the stereo headphones for the BT, a microsd card reader, 3 8gig microSD cards, and a retractable sync cable for the evo. All that slips into my dress slacks pocket opposite my keys and change.
Since I am a big guy (6'2" 250#) it is not at all uncomfortable or noticeable in my pocket.

Re: How do you guys carry your backup batteries?

Wow! Great practices, thanks for the ideas! I hate being tethered to a charger or afraid to use my phone for fear of draining powery, lol. I like the idea of stashing a battery at home, work, and the car! I will definately carry one with confidence in my front pocket, probably in a tiny ziplock

Edit: Love the set-up Aaron!

Re: How do you guys carry your backup batteries?

Right front pocket was the way, but now with the 2600 extended battery, no extra battery, though I still feed it off/on during the day. The 3500ma battery should be here in 3-4 days and I hope it lasts an entire day - at least 8-10 hours.

-And what about heat. Would carrying it in my pocket (or leaving one in my girlfriend's purse), would that be catastrophic?

I'm asking these questions because I'm getting a couple China batteries, and I'm just covering all corner's, you know? LOL

Keeping it in her purse - catastrophic only if you really got her mad.
