it wasnt an arrow it was a exclamation point. i puleed the battery and restarted it in fear of it locking up since i was rooted. its fine now. but i just didnt know what it meant thankss.

From my experience, you cannot do OTA's once rooted. You will need to install an RUU and then re-root. You will still have S-off but you will loose root. The positive note is that re-rooting is a snap.

False. You can't flash an OTA if you have a custom recovery installed. If you search on xda and install the stock recovery, it will install with absolutely no issue. If you're s-off, you can then flash back to a custom recovery, flash the su app, and be on your merry way.
