My phone is currently rooted.

Will the new System Software Update for the Evo (3.29.651.5) - FOTA Update.

If i download this, will it unroot my phone?

Updates will always unroot your phone. Go and and find a rooted version in the development section if it's not there yet give it a couple days and they will root it for you.

Where could i download the ruu that WILL root my phone. I read somewhere that you cant apply the update if you removed bloatware. Is this the case with the latest ruu?

you just have to install any stock ruu, root then remove the bloatware

edit: I found it here at shipped roms
So I could just run this and be rooted again with everything wiped off of my phone, and completely stock like I just got it from the sprint store, correct?

i did the system update and now my phone has the droid guy and behind him is an exclamation point what does this mean? i was rooted with unrevoked3

if its the droid guy with a box like int the bck with an arrow then its updating wait couple of mins

it wasnt an arrow it was a exclamation point. i puleed the battery and restarted it in fear of it locking up since i was rooted. its fine now. but i just didnt know what it meant thankss.
