how to install custom roms on evo

I looked but couldn't find it here but is there a post where it tells you in detail how to install a custom rom on the Evo?

I am following the instruction from the Unlockr but it keeps freezing on the "HTC EVO 4G" screen...

Thanx

Moved to the general EVO forum. All Upgrade forums at PPCG are reserved for threads for new ROMs, radios, unlockers, etc.

Re: how to install custom roms on evo

ok after that i ran a different rom and got the same issue.. do a factory reset again and then wipe dalvik cache again. reboot. then try to install the rom you want again untill it works.. Man i did this for like 3 hours yesterday until i got it to work..

Also try to use a different sd card and reformat it to FAT32 and ensure is completely clean to make sure you do

Patience, it may stay at the 4G screen as long as 10-12min rebuilding...
