Re: screen burn-in on my evo
Hey this used to be an issue with the HTC Touch Pro refurbished replacements. It's the wiring or pads under the LCD touching it..
Hard one to get a replacement for, since they will site that it does not affect you use of the phone and purely cosmetic. YMMV -CC

The screen lifting doesn't really bother me at all since I have a case on it and can't tell anyways, the screen spot issue though is actually starting to irritate me. |

This has been a HTC problem since days of the Mogul. I'm not sure what causes it but I've seen this happen on my Mogul and Touch Pro. I didn't have my TP2 long enough to see it on there. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-titan/...ite-spots.html http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-titan/...o-through.html http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...sed-photo.html

Re: screen burn-in on my evo
Same issue here. I took mine to the Sprint Store. The tech simply just changed out the screen. No waiting for a refurb, and most importantly no expensive insurance claim.
