Blue dots on my screen, what caused it? (with photo)
I noticed these blue dots on my sreen about a week ago. Not sure what caused it. I take very good care of my precious phone! Maybe someone else has seen this? It's a bit faint in the picture but much more noticeable in person. Both are on the right side, one near the top, one near the bottom. The top one is just below the E in the word "move." They look like pressure points, only slight discoloration. They affect whatever is on the screen, not just pure white. It's not so noticeable in dark colors.

Did you ever drop some chemical, like methanol, on them by any chance?

Yes, I also have blue areas on my screen, actually 3 in my case. I think it's screen damage caused by excessive pressure to the touch screen, but not sure about that. I might try to use insurance to get a replacement. My blue areas are much worse than yours.

i have the same issue with mine. i have a blue dot in the exact same spot as your top one. took it to sprint today and they ordered me a new one no problem. good luck

No chemical spills. I keep mine spick'n'span. (spelling?) Glad to hear it's not just me, however unfortunate for you guys. Looks like I'll be stopping at Sprint tomorrow!

Maybe heat related like on the old TP an Mogul's sometimes. :/ Something below that spot might have gotten hot.

Actually, yeah, it might be. Mine does get hot from time to time if I'm charging it and talking on it at the same time...which I do a lot.

My father's has this same problem. I think it's from excessive pressure, seeing how he jams his finger into the thing when it locks up.
