Get root back after 3.29.651.5 OTA *unrevoked*

If you previously had your phone rooted with unrevoked 3.21, just reflash your recovery then flash the superuser app found here [APP] Superuser 2.3.6.1 - Now on the Market [2010-09-05] - xda-developers

Easy as pie, good to go.. No need to "RE-ROOT"...

When you say "Reflash your Recover", could you please explain?
What recovery please?

Hey CC if I rooted the unrevoked3 and unrevoked forever way can I also do this or just 3:21

just download clockwork than superuser

you can also follow the steps in my signature

OK you see my current config and what update I can get. At this point I have 2 images using Nandroid saved on my SD Card. I don't have the 'stock' backup except for pictures, .apk files, and my contacts. I did the Unrevoked 3.21 a couple days ago and need to know exactly what I need to do to get the OTA update. If I should do i manually by downloading to computer or doing OTA? Do I just need to install update over top of my UREV 3.21 root. Do I need to remove the root 1st or what? Should I install manually the OTA, then install again SuperUser, and clockworkmod. Will I then regain my root access? Who is right and who is wrong? Is this method in the very beginning post flawless as long you do it correctly?

as long as you didnt delete any apps from teh stock rom your fine.

if you have have used unrevoked forever and have -off when you boot than all you need to do is download the update and install it.

than place the clockwork revovery and superuser on your sd card

boot into clockwork and reinstal it. dont reboot go to recovery and instal superuser and wallah your done

nope wrong pri version and baseband you used someones jackup up update.

if your hboot has -off than you should have followed my instructions. dont be installing someone elses rooted ota. use the stock one and follow the steps
