You have to choose the option to install zip from sd card. Then you have to go in and find it. There are different ways to do it but only 1 will actually work. I don't remember which one worked for me but choosing the main one did not work. For some reason you have to use the option to select which zip file you want to use. Just play around with it.

i think yall are lying about this update.... i still have not got it... tried the manual update, that $hit failed.

My evo shows version 3.29.651.6. Anyone else notice this?

Well, my update went through perfectly. I ran an fps test and I now get 49-53 fps. I love it! For those who still can't get it, run the profile update and the prl update and restart your phone. I had the same issue and that got it to work. Of course if your phone is rooted with unrevoked like mine you'll have to use the update that is available for download. Android central has directions on how to do this. If you still can't get it then take it to a repair center as long as your not rooted. So far most everyone has gotten the update one way or another.

i was getting anythng untill i reboot my phone then check again manually then i get it so try the same n see wats up

Ok this works. confirmed on mine.

My evo was on unrevoked 3.21. Wanted to update to 3.29.651.5:

ihave been trying to update to 3.29.651.5 sd card method nothing work , there any way we can unroot then update to 3.29.. really idid every things ican .. need help guys please
