Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am looking for the most stable 2.2 Rom for the Evo. I am looking for it to be %100 AOSP, particular closest to the NEXUS, I am simply tired of the lag from sense, but will miss the aesthetics.

I have looked through the post with 49 ROMS and counting, but haven't seem to find the one I was looking for (tested plenty). Any suggestions would be great!!!

IF I POSTED IN THE WRONG SECTION, DON'T FLAME ME, JUST MOVE MY POST!

Yes I believed I flashed this, but like the apps menu didn't look the same as the Nexus if I am recalling right and I was never able to sync my gmail with it....

Re: Can someone point me in the right direction?

i use gmail...and I have been on CM6 since the nightlies were posted up...have NOT had an issue with syncing.

To disable sense...go to Applications under settings...and go to the manage applications section. Wait for the apps to load...then find HTC Sense. Once there...you can click on the button to clear defaults. Next time you hit the home button...you'll be presented on choices of what app the home button will take you. It is advisable to have a home launcher type alternative installed before you do that. Launcher Pro, ADW Launcher both of those come to mind.

CM-BLUe_B3@$T-XV is based off CM6 but may be what you are looking for. No 4g for CM6
