Do my eyes deceive me? CM6 FINAL released at last?

Posted at 04:02AM Today ( Sunday 8/28 ) by cyanogen, in the STABLE forums. From reading the post over a couple times, and looking at the filename for the download link, CM6 is no longer in RC status, and is now final? Still minus 4G, FM, and HDMI though.

Yup, looks like we're gonna have to wait for 4g til cm 6.1.

I certainly hope its not the final version if it still doesnt have 4G and HDMI out....

No FM radio aswell.these aren't things I truly need 100% but I like to have EVERYTHING working.

what's so special about that rom if 4g and other things that worked out of the box, are not usable?

Have you tried?rom is super fast very stable alot of people don't like htc sense..list can go on..

I tried it out this morning and for people that like the goggle experience, this rom is sooo good, but sadly im a htc sense fan, i felt it was missing polish since im used to the htc apps but thats just me. Highly reccomend it if u dont get 4g and dont use hdmi out

I gave up on cm a while ago due to battery issues...has this been addressed?

I never had battery issues with any of the nightlies I flashed. I also downloaded JuiceDefender, which helped my battery last longer.

I'm glad CM is now in release status. I'm patiently waiting for 6.1, so I can have working 4G. But it is a great rom, even when "only" being able to use 3G.
