What happened to my Sprint Navigation?? - Page 4

nav will auto update to curent version. may not do it on first launch, try shutting down and re launching. may require atk or shutting off phone and re-launching. testing now, but it started as 2.8, waiting for it to finish login for first time on 2.2

google nav is great, so is sprint nav

I called Sprint this morning about this issue, the tech mentioned that our phones are always getting OTA OTA app updates and applied without user permission. I thought that part was BS. Bottom line he still couldn't answer why or when this happened so instead he gave me a link to download the app and told me to upgrade to premium and added a note to my account about not charging for this service service since my everything plan already covers this. right after the call I shut off my OTA update notification.

I read back a page about a Pin I use to have a TP and ran custom roms had to goto telnav and had to register no big deal to get the pin because I ran telnav not the sprint version and it needed a pin but was never charge by sprint

For some reason once I got home from my trip it started working properly again. They must of been having some kind of glitch in LA Thursday.

It seems the was manly affecting customer who has a data shared plan, but. a simple call to sprint will fix that issue whether by them crediting your acct for the 9.99 or by them creating a service ticket, either way the problem would have gotten fix. what cause the problem it has to do with the plan code for the feature, on all the data shared plans the nag code is not added, so that's why telenav( partner with sprint) would not work properly or think you or premium member. this problem has been capping ever since the plan was released, hopefully they will update the Code on the billing side
