Im already rooted but to summarize, is this a full root on the 2.2 ota? So I can finally have my 1.47 pri?

as in usual unrevoked fashion they do not specify if the phone needs to be pre rooted or if this will work if its the stock shipped ota rom.

From the Unrevoked Forever site it states "

• If your phone does not already have a custom recovery, use unrevoked3 to root your phone.
  
  • The installation process cannot take place if the phone does not have a custom recovery installed."

So it would seem that you do need to be rooted to use this.

Has anyone who used the unrevoked3 method and still had PRI 1.40, successfully completed the unrevoked forever method and if so do you still have PRI 1.40

no it states use unrevoked 3 to root, nothing says if you updated to the .6 updates stock you can't do this

unrevoked instructions have always been so-so

Yeah, i hear ya, the thing is that once they get stuff right, it WORKS, exceedingly well, and exceedingly easy! Seconds with the .apk (for practical purposes), 3 minutes with Unrevoked 3.1, but yeah, I hear you though.

The key with Unrevoked is not to be part of the first wave, lol!

Yes it does. If Google wasn't so closed source, our phones would ship with Root instead of us worrying about bricking our phones trying to get it.
