It looks like that video didn't go over alot of details. To root an evo with stock 2.2 you need to first go back to 2.1, root then back to a rooted 2.2 rom, he didn't just root 2.2 he did the same process as everyone else. |

yeah, I usually disagree with everything Poo Poo has to say but he/she is right. I have never had any problems with doing the unrevoked3/forever method. did it on two phones. Woks perfect.

if you dont flash a rom without updated wimax you wont be able to manually update it

It is really taking a long time for ota 2.2 to be rooted. Are they even going to do it or did they give up on it?

The only method I have found is reverting back to 2.1 and then rooting and then going back to a rooted 2.2 rom. I will not revert back. I also checked unrevoked site and they still have not rooted the ota 2.2 update. If you know something I don't know and have the link to it then please share it.
