I had to format my SD card FIRST before proceeding. I dont know why but i do know it worked for me. Back up all your stuff and give it a try.

For some reason not formatting my SD card was causing problems, just dump the card and start with a clean slate.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Ever thought of flashing back to stock 2.1 rom and the flashing to 2.2? Seems more and more people have issues flashing while rooted...Not trying to sound mean about it but you would probably be better off going thaqt route than to pull your hair out trying to flash while half rooted. just my 2cents

that's exactly what I would like to do, since almost all of these instructions are reference coming from a stock phone and not a 1/2 rooted unrevoked rom. If I could go back to full stock, and not a modified/rooted stock, it would probably be a whole lot easier

Re: My phone WILL NOT take Froyo

the post i just gave was what i used to fix my half rooted problem. I have had zero problems flashing multiple froyo roms. Unrooting your phone, then flashing unrootable froyo probably is not the optimal way handle your problem.

Just follow the above link, wipe your sd card, follow the guide exactly. Only put the files from the guide on your sd card. If there is further confusion....your screwed?

Half assing the root or (half assing your research prior to root) is how we got ourselves into this mess in the first place. There is no simple cure. Just take 20 minutes to read over the guide. Take another 20 minutes to follow the guide. Be thorough. It will work.

Re: My phone WILL NOT take Froyo

flash the original 1.47 RUU (in the shipped rom sticky)...then either A. root w/ simple root and flash a custom rooted rom or B. do the OTA.

thaz wut i did. **** unrevoked.

do this: http://forum.androidcentral.com/htc-...urn-stock.html

worked 4 me and my 3 other buddies who used unrevoked3 and couldnt get the OTA to work.

Re: My phone WILL NOT take Froyo

I am full root with nand unlock and i can't get ota to work. Goes about 1/4 then stops so a full root and nand unlock isn't the answer. Haven't used unrevolked since i did full root 6+ weeks ago.

Re: My phone WILL NOT take Froyo

OTA wont work after root. Unrevoked is no bueno. Never did simple root, did it the original way.
